When you use the PUSHD tool, we also collect personal information you provide in terms of your responses to the assessment questionnaires about your mood and mental well being, the feedback you provide to us, as well as the responses you enter when going over the app content and doing the self-help exercises to improve your well being. We also record the time at which you start and end sections and login sessions.

On the whole, when you register for and enter the PUSH-D Program, you will be asked to complete a number of questionnaires and enter some information, which you may consider to be sensitive, about yourself. The program asks for this information in order to provide you with recommendations that are personally relevant to you and help you learn skills to manage depressive symptoms. The information is stored in the PUSH-D database. This information may be reviewed by a Clinical Psychology consultant/staff who is part of the PUSH-D team at NIMHANS. This would be for the purpose of monitoring usage of the tool and progress of individual clients in order to guide them periodically, as may be required and feasible This information will also be used to periodically add/send notes from PUSHD-D consultants in the workbook of the users for clarification and motivation enhancement.
When you visit the platform, our servers automatically record information such as browser type, pages of our platform and sub-sections that you visit, the time spent on the site at each log in, and dates, and other general statistics. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the site, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use and improve this self-help platform by providing better user-experience.
All the information gathered is stored on servers managed by NIMHANS and is subject to stringent security measures.

Some Personal Information, such as your answers to online assessments, cannot be deleted once submitted. However, you may be able to add new versions of forms, in order to monitor your own progress or set new goals.

We will remove your identifiable information such as email id and phone number. However, in such instances, we will retain your responses and other information in anonymized form for research purposes, if you provide consent for deletion of identifying personal information while allowing retention of your responses.
Please note that we are required to retain certain information - by law or in keeping with professional standards - for record maintaining purposes (including but not limited to feedback, etc.), and there may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which, irrespective of any efforts by us to delete information, will not be removed from them.
